Yatta!

Here is the place where you are going to think I'm either a absolutely insane or absolutely disgusting. Take your pick, I don't care!!! This is dedicated to Happotai, a group of Japanese guys dancing around in leafy underwear whilst singing one of the happiest songs I've ever heard. Read up, look at the pix, watch the movie, and just try and have fun with it!

The first member of Happatai I will introduce you to is Nanbara. He is kind of like the lead singer I guess. When they all make the letters, he is the "L". The funniest thing he does is when they are outside and he is saying something along the lines of "Nee pon q q" and he scrunches up his shoulders and shtuff. I think its funny anyway...

OK, this is Horiuchi. Laugh at me all you want, but I think he is hot. SHUT UP!!! When they make the letters, he is the R. He has the best voice I think. And he has the best body. Well, the short guy has the semi quasi 6 pack but Horiuchi is cute. He sings "Da ga gu oh ga goo, sha sha sha shoo nu ee" and I think it's adorable!!! He has a tan and his smile is hot!!! Yesh, you may point out the little snaggle tooth but that's ok!!!

This big boy is Ooki. He is one of the Double E's when they spell out GREENL. I think his name should be Cookie. He is kind of a big boy and probably eats cookies?? I don't know. He doesn't move around like the other guys, he kind of shuffles. Maybe so he doesnt shake as much...ouch Mary that was harsh. He is cool.

Before you go on, you should probably go watch this so you understand it. I guarantee you will most likely want to turn it off once it starts, but PLEASE just watch! It's not porn, it's not gross, it's just six guys having fun. And it's funny! Go watch.

This is Nagura. He spells the N, and sings "Happy Go Lucky" in the song. He is the shortest guy and always seems to sing after Nanbara. I think he seems like he would be full of himself. I don't know why. He has that kind of a grin on his face half the time or something that makes me think that.

This is Harada. He sings "We are the World You know" and spells the G. There is one part where he just stands up and seems to scream "Hay say niguroy" and he reminds me of Jimmy Fallon for some reason...ok you probably realize by now that what I think has next to no relation to what something actually is. But anyways. He is cool.

Here we have Oouchi. He is the other E in GREENL. At one point he marches out onto the stage with Harada and says something that sounds like psycho duck. Hehehe. Anyways. He has a cool name!!!


	These six guys are collectively known as "Happotai". They come from a Japanese sort of Saturday Night Live called "Silly Go Lucky". It's actually a pretty funny show. I saw it once on the international channel. They have some good ideas and shtuff. This whole video is really making fun of American boy bands. I think it has kind of a Village People twist to it though, with the spelling and stuff. They have them all kind of divided up if you can tell. And no matter how dumb the dance moves look, you really can tell they are similar to how our "boy bands" parade around on stage. "Yatta!" means "I did it!" in Japanese. The whole song is kind of random, just mentioning happy things that happen during life. Every once in a while the lead singer will scream out random things. At one point he says "OHIO!" I thought they were trying to mimick The Drew Carey Show, but OHIO means "Good Morning" in Japanese, and at that point in the song, they are talking about waking up. This thing got so popular that they put it out on CD, VHS, and even DVD!!! I really gotta get me that DVD...hehehe. I'm sure you must be wondering what "GREENL" means. Well, they spell out GREEN and then when they make the L, they say LEAVES. Get it? Green leaves on their underwear...ahem. Yeah. I hope you like this as much as I do!!!
